Rare footage of Painted Wolves forming a new pack!

Wild Dogs, Cape Hunting Dogs or their more accurate name Painted Wolves are rare enough. Being one of the most rare predators in Africa, seeing them at any time is incredibly lucky.However we were honoured to watch as two females and three males met for the first time! very little aggression was shown and some of the most interesting behaviour our guides had ever seen.

Their numbers are even less than Cheetahs, and am lucky to see one Pack during my last visit in Kenya

Nice to see these endangered animals make a new pack! Social interactions within painted wolf society are intriguing and interesting. Do you have any background info on which packs the males and females dispersed from?
