I love these sessions where the items are discussed and shown and prices given. I have around sixty such badges and am eager to learn more from your discussions. Thank you!

Nice collection. In 1990, my mothers German uncle gave me his medals: Wehrpass, Winterschlacht im Osten bag, Verwundeten Abzeichen in Schwarz, Sturmabzeichen in Bronse für Motorisierte Infanterie. His brother was a Feldwebel in the infanterie ( Sergeant- Major) and he had the taking of Czechoslowakia medal with the Pragerburg spange, Iron Cross second class, Verwundete Abzeichen in Gold and an Abzeichen i can not identify on the picture his grand child gave me. It has the form ( oval) of the Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen. They both survived the war. Their two other brothers did not. I am Dutch but i live in the Belgium Battle of the Bulge area. On the fleemarket yesterday, several sellers had war items for sale. I bought n oil can for a B.A.R. ( rifle).

My dad joined the Canadian army at 15 years old and came back with stuff he looted from some of the dead German soldiers. My brother and I used to check it out when we were little. Wish I had that stuff now. It would be worth a fortune.

Very good video. I started collecting in 1968, My Father was a Sgt. in a US Army Combat Engineer Battalion and gave me a few bring backs. I stopped collecting a few years ago because of the abundance of high tech fakes on the market. I know a well established dealer who has been selling for over 35 years .and even he got burned on a fake Schwerin U Boot badge. There are probably more fakes out there now then was produced during the war.

I have various German WW2 medals and badges. I bought over more than 27 years ago. But it's only collecting dust for the last 17 years or so. I had like a small museum at home like most collectors have. But since i live together with my girlfriend, i have no room anymore to display them.

There was some nice badges shown. I have many of them and also have sold quite a few over the years. I absolutely avoid selling any badges or insignia within the United States market. My opinion is that the domestic market is horrible. I'll only deal with overseas connections in Europe.

wow, the golden one is the wounded badge in gold, my grandfather wore it at a picture i have, the troop ship was sunk by british submarine near Tunesia. I guess thats why he got this medal because i couldnt see any major injuries in his documents expect radius fracture and some minor stuff. The golden version is normally given to people with more than 4 injuries i think or because of a very bad situation. Nice to see those things in real. Well my picture is only black and white but you could see that it has to be golden. The transportation vessel was called "Heraklea" and the british submarine "Utmost"
