Rare Giraffe Twins Celebrate First Birthday

Wasswa and Nakato, a pair of rare giraffe twins born and reared at Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch in Texas, celebrated their first birthday on May 10, 2014. This video shows the first year of their growth and the significance of this milestone birthday. They are the only living set of giraffe twins in the United States and the ninth set recorded in the world of giraffe record-keeping.

Most majestic,elegant animals in the world so quintessentially African,you can find cats everywhere ,dogs ,but giraffe are so bound to the African continent, just as the giant panda is to China ,the kangaroo to Australia the giraffe ,zebra spotted heyna serval. Caracole,gorilla is to Africa best wild life on the planet period no contest ,to see them in the natural environment in the correct proper context would be a real treat

Did you see how the woman in the booth, at the drive-thru, handed the driver something, and she smiled, and tried not to laugh, the reason why she tried not to laugh, was because she knew she was being recorded for this video. And she heard some weird story that she finds funny, and what she finds funny, is about a car going a car going through drive-thru.

I'm so happy they both made it I was just watching another set of twins and the zoo put down the little boy twin he wasn't suckling they fed him and keep him warm but he wouldn't suckle from his mom so they decided to put him down I'm sure there is probably more reason but he seemed to be doing ok hand fed.

"Texas" and "style" don't go together, but if you insist on concatenating the two, put a hyphen between them. There are FEWER than 5,000 reticulated giraffes left in the wild.

Hard to believe but them "lovely" giraffes can kill a Lion. And giraffe males fighting isn't pretty.
