I had an old IHC back in the 70s. Tough trucks and solid steel. And they didnt leave you stranded very often because you could work on things with basic tools. That old girl would look good in my yard, waiting for my next job. It could snuggle up next to my 73 Ford F-100 flatbed with 19K miles. 😁

I have a similar example of the same truck. It's a 67 4x4 with a short bed. International called their non-stepsides a Bonus Load bed. The funny thing is that the IH Bonus Load bed looks about as out of place as that Ford bed. Somehow they didn't think they needed to shape the bed sides to match the pickup cab, so even the factory bed looks like a donor from another brand. I love the truck though and it is a nice change of pace over the sea of 60s Chevs and Fords you see at car shows.

The original Scout was the Model 80 which sat on a 100-inch wheelbase. It was brought to market in 1961 in both 4x2 and 4x4 models, with the 4WD versions more popular. IH produced over 100,000 units during the Model 80's five-year lifespan.
