*Rare* Jet2 A330-200 Crosswind Circuit Training at Prestwick Airport

Hi all. On Friday 12th May 2017, Prestwick got one of the best trainers of the year so far, in the form of Jet2’s new A330-200. This A330 is leased from Air Tanker and will be based at Manchester during Summer 2017, to help add extra capacity to their most popular routes. The A330 arrived at noon and departed back down to Brize Norton around 16:30 local time. The A330 preformed many touch and go’s including a few go arounds. There was also a crosswind as well, which made watching its final approaches more interesting. I filmed from 2 locations, the usual spot the mound and the spot at the threshold of Runway 12. I filmed it landing and departing back the Brize Norton from this spot. I also moved up and down the mound to get more angles with the shots and show slightly different perspectives of the A330. The A330 is due to be delivered to Jet2 next week. To add to this, the video is the first on KZbin of Jet2s A330. Since being painted into their colours, this is the A330s first flight. I was very surprised to see this because I assumed all crews had been trained. However Air Tanker have leased out 2 other A330s, both to Thomas Cook. One has been with Thomas Cook since 2015, which is based at Glasgow year round. The other is, as far as I’m aware for Summer 2017 only, and is also based at Manchester. I hope you all enjoy.

myself and my daughter are travelling on this on Monday August 28th from Manchester Airport to Tenerife South Airport, LS917, departing 1535hrs. the aircraft will be set out in a 2-4-2 seating configuration. I think it will be fantastic to see how Jet2 handle this Aircraft and Crew it. As I'm currently studying Cabin Crew diploma level 2. I honestly can't wait hopefully the Airline buys it own before December 17 but no chance

This plane is used at Manchester and is commonly used for flights to JFK airport in America.

Flew to NYC on a Thomas Cook Air tanker, no entertainment, no USB sockets, just a bog standard A330-200, not very passenger friendly.
