Rare mileage ride on Big 19

A year ago, MUNI in San Francisco was doing weekend specials running their two antique cable cars; Car 42 and Car 19, known lovingly as Big 19. Both cars are California Cars, as opposed to Powell Cars. Big 19 is the biggest and oldest Cable Car in the system, having been built in 1883 at a length of 34'0". In the first scene, we see Big 19 as she gets taken out of the carbarn. In the second scene, we are riding on Jackson, making the right onto Hyde, before crossing over to the other side of the street to head the opposite direction up Hyde towards California Street. This is switch and the trackage along Hyde to California is not typically open to the public, which makes this a bit of a rare mileage ride. The third scene is of Big 19 as she comes off of Hyde and turns onto California. Enjoy the view of the ride out of the barn, along Jackson and Hyde, and the view turning onto California.
