I need to go ahead and say this; God has used this song to help me continue on in some of the hardest times that I have had recently. This should also be added before I post this comment. It was while I was listening to this song that a truth finally clicked in my head. The truth is that we are enough because greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. We can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens us. This revelation brought about a breakthrough in my understanding and a change in what was motivating me to press on. @rareofbreed I guess that I could also let everyone know that Rare of Breed is an artist that is cut from a different cloth. They are the only group that I have liked that could really be considered as having a country twang that I have ever liked aside from Randy Travis. I, personally, think that most country music sounds horrible. Also, I love the blend of country and rap that is offered in their music. It is the best blend that I have ever heard, and I have heard plenty of attempts with the fact that I helped advertise the Christian underground music around where I was raised back in my younger years. When I was first introduced to the musical stylings of Rare of Breed around a year and a half to two years ago, basically told my friend who was introducing me to the music that I likely wouldn't like it. He proved me to be wrong in my assumption. To me, Rare of Breed ranks right up there with TobyMac, which is really quite an amazing thing seeing as how I followed Toby even back when he was still with DCTalk back when they were first starting out. This basically means that I think of Rare of Breed as highly as one of my brothers-from-another-mother. I guess that it could be said that Toby Mac was there to help raise me, while Rare of Breed and TobyMac have been there to be used by the Lord to help keep me afloat. I am grateful for every piece of encouragement that you have put into our society to help those of us who so often feel like we are alone in this struggle to remember that we aren't. It often gets to be so hard for so many of us to keep our heads lifted towards heaven. Actually, I will admit humbly that I was at the end of my rope this morning over a pain from my giving it all and yet still not feeling that it was enough. I had a father-like figure go home to heaven in July, had someone that I invested everything that I could into have me feel like it still wasn't enough, had my children taken away a few years ago which I still miss and desire so strongly to be able to see again, had my biological dad go home to heaven last July, had my old best friend from childhood that I was raised with go home due to suicide a few years ago, my mom went home the year before that, and my grandmother the year before that. I have been rejected, abused physically, mentally, emotionally, and sexually, been manipulated more times than I even care to remember, had the fact that I was raped three times blamed on me by my biological parents, etc. The list goes on. It is because of the Lord using you and Toby to get messages to me through music that I am able to keep pressing on even when my ability to fight by myself has waned. If you wanted to know why I stand behind your music as much as I do, then here is the reason. You are such an encouragement to me, which is why I am as quick as I am to give your name to other people and request that they have a listen.

I’ve seen a change in him that’s been a blessing. We go to church on Sunday together, we pray together and listen mainly to your stuff.
