My wife and I were on the same guided tour as you. This was our first-ever birding event. We enjoy viewing your videos. Funny to see both of us in this video. Keep up the great content; we love it.

I know Raymond! I've birded with him quite a few times. Not as part of a tour, but just as a fellow birder here in New Mexico (he is from Albuquerque). He is a phenomenal birder and has a great eye and ear. In fact, he is personally responsible for several birds on my life list that I may not have spotted otherwise. I'm glad he was able to spot one for you. I don't have that species on my list as of yet. Congratulations!

Thank you for sharing this... I was on the King Ranch looking for them in April, 2023 without luck. Our guide stopped for our picnic lunch at the exact spot where you found them! I'm definitely going to work on getting back there very soon!

Good morning 🌅 to you two from Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR. OWLS 🦉 are nocturnal birds, and it’s so amazing that you two were able to spot these OWLS 🦉 in broad daylight 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍👍👍👍👍👍

Good evening from the USA! Friend, you're mistaken. Owls (Barred, Great Horned) are readily spotted in day light hours here in rural & towney (pop. 40k) southern Wisconsin U.S.A., especially when they are hunting day & night to feed their young. The first owl we saw decades ago here was in the dark driving a 2 lane "country" rd. near a 6 lane Interstate highway. All the other owls since we've see in day light, in flight & perching within substantial trees (as recently as last week, what we guessed was a breeding pair of Horneds; the female was massive! SO COOL!
@markshen3280Ай бұрын
WOW ! So glad to know you two had such great opportunities to spot these owls in the daytime 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

When I lived in Palenque Mexico, a group of 6 of these hung out in our backyard every night for about a week, often on a branch just above our door. Such cool birds! You can see a video I got of one of them on my channel if you're interested.

Some of the Owl footage was from our friend Chris who uses a Canon R6 II I believe? Some of our I shot with the OM-1 Mark II with the 150-600mm lens and Ryan was shooting with the Panasonic LUMIX FZ-80. If you have a specific clip in mind I can tell you what it was shot with
