Amazing! Thanu padhmanaban was one of the goats of general relativity and cosmology! To have learnt from him and interact with him, you are definitely gifted sir! I have his big book on gravity, it shows his genius though and through

Sorry about this, but you can't be referring to him as The GOAT

Sir can we apply it when both the particles are moving..... Cuz, we know with the help of relative velocity concept we will fall into same sort of situation
@ishanjunnare3419 Жыл бұрын
the frame you are referring to is not a constant velocity one but an accelarating as well as rotating one and you will need to apply all pseudo forces of all orders like centrifugal corialis azimuthal which will increase the complexity of the qsn much much beyond jee advanced level

How would we draw a graph between vr and vθ? Will it also be a circle? Edit: Followed the derivation carefully and tried to do a similar thing in vr and vθ. Was able to get relation between vr and θ. But dvθ actually is directly proportional to r, not independent of it. So i guess it not possible to do it that way. Although an alternative would be to write (vr)^2+(vθ)^2 = (vx)^2+(vy)^2. As we know vx, vy and vr as a function of θ, we know vθ also. Anyways great concept sir, extremely useful to solve various sorts of questions. There is a question in irodov which can be solved easily by this concept. Thank you very much for this Edit 2: Just realised that vθ can be expressed as a function of r independent of θ. And vr can be expressed as function of θ independent of r
