Rare Sturmpanzer Brummbär WW2 footage.
The Sturmpanzer 43 armoured infantry support gun based on the Panzer IV chassis, it was developed in 1942 by Skoda. to provide a vehicle offering direct infantry fire support, with a 15-centimetre Sturmhaubitze 43 L/12.
The vehicle went into production in 1943, but the Panzer IV chassis proved to be unsuited for the weight of the vehicle, which led to frequent breakdowns of the suspension and transmission. The weight problem was sort of solved with the StuH 43/1.
The vehicle would see action in Battles of Kursk, Italy, Normandy, and in the Warsaw Uprising. (which can be seen in this video) The vehicle is known as the Brummbär, but this nickname was never used by the Germans and it was actually named Stupa by the soldiers and crews.
Production of the vehicle would end in 1945 after only 300 were produced.

So many vehicles where destroyed but should have been kept for museums and history even just for the parts to restore other vehicles! When they are gone it is forever.

Sturmpanzer 43 or Sd.Kfz. 166 Stupa but I didn't realise how rare the actual footage really is about this AFV! I only know that altrough it was built around only 300 units the 15 cm StuH 43 L/12 cannon was effective but the loader had a difficult time to load the heavy two load charges especially if elevated at high angle. The drawback with this AFV was that it was very hard on the suspensions and wheels that it was alleviated with the successive variants and fitted with steel rimmed wheels. Great footage again 👍👍

All of the audio of the tanks firing is fake. Blatantly edited in. For you or whoever else to tamper with historical footage like this is negligent, irresponsible, and downright deceptive. Fix it, or this video will have a permanent stain in the form of human tampering.

Stop talking nonsense and the drama XD, every single bit of WW2 footage has edited in audio, and most was edited in in the 80s or other wise later on in documentaries, because cameras back then did not have any mics to record audio with.
