Had a Coachman 22dsx. Similar, but 2 bunks. Was awsome once set up. Room like a 30-footer but could fit on any site in any park. It did take a bit to set it up, so not so great for traveling with a lot of stops. Perfect for "a week at the park" though. Ours was toasty or cool with ac and heater. I really loved backing into sites with a view and opening all the windows in the back bunk. Felt like actually camping in the woods!

Hey Josh, another reason they have two of the max airflow vents is you turn them on max power when you’re ready to close up your hybrid beds and it sucks all the air out of your canvas area for you to shut your beds easier.

Yup, learned that trick too.

The audio, to me, seems really flat and dry with no depth, almost 2 dimensional. Volume is more distant (even with the interior footage) compared to the previous camera. I chalked the audio/video up to the weather, it looks kind dreary there when recorded. Thanks for the Saturday upload, great way to start my weekend :)

Best thing about these is that they sleep a family of 6 comfortably, but they can be towed by a tow package full size SUV. Until the RV industry ditches Azdel and starts making RVs out of bags of holding this is the best option for large families. There’s an active facebook group with lots of ideas for storage and overcoming some of the other hybrid challenges. I grew up camping in a pop up so hybrids still feel like a breeze to set up, but it’s definitely more work than a typical camper.

Hi Josh. Video and audio were perfect. I didn't see/hear any issues. Honestly, it wasn't apparent you were using any different type of equipment. I really do love the tent campers, they really make you feel like you're CAMPING. I had a pop-up and enjoyed the 'outside inside'...sounds/feels. My favorite is sleeping at the beach and hearing the light house fog horn in the middle of the night. 🥰 My unique circumstances w/ special needs kid made it necessary to move up to a closed in travel trailer because that fog horn? Yeah, it was mimicked over and over, each time it was heard. 😑 If you (and any viewers) know Autism, you'll know exactly what I mean. 😂 If I could, THIS camper right here would be MY jam! The fact you don't have to mess with setting up bunk ends; pulling and anchoring tent material and end supports is a HUGE improvement. These days, these units really are less often seen, but I think there are a lot of people who might not know or understand just how really COOL they can be. Thanks Josh, for this review! 😀

We were posh as my dad had a portable black & white tv run off the car battery. We had MANY rainy days, where touching the tent wall would soak you with rainwater, and putting the tent away in the rain was an insane experience. I think this is amazing, the facilities are insane. I think even the anti-campers in my family would consider holidaying in this one! #nerdherd #RVnerdherd

It has 2 opposing slideouts(1 is a super slide)which provides an Island Kitchen! We get the same reaction from our friends & family who see it for the first time, "Wow, so much bigger than it looks from outside". The 23FL layout was similar but with a rear kitchen. You can almost break dance in that one!. 2 main reasons for getting a Hybrid was, I can park it at home in my driveway and I can take it down smaller mountain roads that prohibit trailers larger than 26ft. You still get that bigger trailer feel. Had to learn how to remedy the condensation and heat issues in the bedding areas too. The Showermizer is a genius invention for boondocking and the heated mattresses are awesome. HYBRID PRIDE!😂. If there's such a thing.

Awesome unit! I adore the inside decor. This looks like it would be very comfortable to camp n play!

I’m sure they could put a rectangular shower in there if they could arrange it so that when the shower is open, it leaves elbow room for the toileteer. Maybe a curtain, although they’re not the nicest things for the decor.

I’d be really curious to see what they could come up with if they took an opportunity to re-tool it a little bit

The nets are baby hammocks. Also if you fold down the table(in bed mode your mattress fits rather nicely on top of it for travel and yes the back one is a pain. The only complaint we have about this camper is the tent ends get super hot in the sun and yhe ac don't keep up, unless you go to turtle mode and close the ends. Wish the would get with artic tent and make the tent ends insulated then this would be perfect

The visual and audio was awesome. No need to change anything. Picture was crystal clear. I do have a question which you may or maynot be able to answer. Do you know if this is a popular RV? I'm currently tent camping but I'm not sure if I should step up to RV or a Hybrid RV like this one. I think I'm most so afraid that many campgrounds would not allow me to camp at there campgrounds or resort with this type of RV. Also, what the chances that the canvas on this hyrid would leak or tear from several wind damage? Finally, clarification on what you stated earlier. Did you say each queen bed can hold 1000 pounds? What about the soft weight limit? Can you add a TV to that third rear queen bed area or the two queens share the same bed? What size TV can fit there?

Rockwood is a popular brand Hybrids have waned in popularity This layout was actually just retired
@carlettewoods3481Ай бұрын
When you say it's retired, do you mean they will not be making them anymore? If they're truly retired and zi purchase one, will they be able to service the RV or have the parts to make any minor or major repairs if needed. Maybe this wouldn't be the best purchase if they retired. What are your thoughts on this matter?
