I think he could have phrased it .. "all people trying to "flock" together to see the yellow bird"

To me this gives our Mankind hope ,that there might be other rare animals out there, or maybe thought to be extinct animals out there, still living and existing. To me this animal is a bird of hope and wonder.

This bird isn't anything new. The only difference that it has from other cardinals is that it lacks the color pigment that gives this bird its red coloring, making it yellow instead; not much different from albinism. Besides that, it's just your average male Northern Cardinal. This kind of mutation can happen to virtually any species, but is more frequent in abundant ones, such as in this case, with a Northern Cardinal.

I actually just saw a purple colored cardinal eating under my bird feeder, but didn't have any camera on hand at the time. -_- It's making me wonder if there are a bunch of new species in the cardinal family popping up all at once.

OmG they need to breed this colored cardinal 😍

Breeding a wild bird would be near impossible and the chance of the yellow gene being passed down is still insanely low. ,Also this video is almost three years old and cardinals only live three so its likely dead by now. Sorry to kill the mood

I love cardinals! I hope this yellow cardinal doesn’t get rejected by the females, if females are anything like human females, he might be in trouble. As much as I know about cardinals, this I am unsure of.

My neighbor in Houston, TX said she saw one in her yard recently. This was about mid-July. I hadn't ever heard of a yellow cardinal.

I wonder if red cardinals discriminate against the yellow cardinal because of the color of its feathers, or do they judge it on the content of its character?

Goodness me! In my country we catch these lovely birds and eat them! They are most delicious! The *all-yellow ones* were once served to the emperors. Perhaps that is why there are none left. A great pity. We will send a party to Alabama to see if we can catch one or two. They wil fetch a very high price in local restaurants here!
