Welcome to Aussie soul :). Their live version of Hold Me is one of the most joyous things you'll see. You can't go wrong with any of their music.

They're one of those bands that don't do anything you don't like. This will tell my age, but it reminds of Fleetwood Mac. EVERY song they do grabs your heart and soul or maybe both. Just Amazing RAW talent. ❤❤❤❤❤

I grew up In Montreal in the late 60's and this was our music...all R&B and soul....like Otis and Wilson Picket......this guy is so close to the music we loved.....look up Hold Me

8:51 Kinda like Otis Redding (like his song "These Arms of Mine") mashed with Joe Cocker (like his song "With a little help from my friends") but yeah, you right, very 50s/60s bluesy inspired soul music :). This that new Baby Making music hahaha. Funnily enough, some people think he looks like Chris Hemsworth aka Thor from MCU, who actually is a fan of this band too :D. Fave line I've seen on these videos it's like _Thor stole the soul stone_ hahahaha. Great reaction as always Sean!

Favourite line I have heard is “ I close my eyes and I hear Otis Redding and I open my eyes and see Chris Hemsworth!” 😂

I'll be happy if people just like the music. Its overtly black gospel music, performed very well, and in being so is respectful to the originators.

Shawn James 1. Through The Valley (gas light sessions) 2. Thats Life (Frank Sinatra cover) Colter Wall 1. The Devil Wears a Suit and Tie 2. Sleeping on the Blacktop Two incredible voices that bring this same energy. Highly suggest giving one of them a shot.
