i think it was meant to be added along side it as an IGC. they scrapped it and no news of it have been seen since :( I really wanted it (crabula cape ugly)

probably a placeholder item, devs can replace a color if they want to, they probably were testing the visibility of light on the cape, so they replaced the common light icon with crab, and nowadays, we have many capes which have a different icon for light and not star, like Waves on Ocean cape, and crosses on Nintendo cape and so on.

Despite not being available, the item was still ported over to the live servers. With some cheating, you could still try it on. However, players are unable to see cosmetics you don't own, so it would be for you and you alone.

@@plantaxiangyea alot of beta scrapped content requires you to dig for urself the crab cape was a thing in mischief beta test 2023 but got scrapped for unknown reason There’s a cape similar to it but is wavy shaped and were around style/mischief beta test 2024 but was also removed, ppl theorized it could be a 3rd level of the normal cape
