This has got to be one of the *BIGGEST* blunders Link has ever pulled off here.. Not only was he set so very well for magic (with about a +50 or +60 Magic Attack Bonus) that the Salamander wouldn't be needed. (The Flail is 1-handed and he could keep using the BSS [Blessed Spirit Shield].) Instead he ABSOLUTELY chucks the entire challenge by going Melee with one of worse weapons. The only Attack Bonus he was getting, was from the Ring, that's about it. Plus, like Rargh Said, with the legs off he gains +10 to his mage defence which wouldn't cripple Link's Magic attack bonus of +50 or +60.

I can't believe link bailed on the magic setup that was probably one of the dumbest things i've ever seen in a pvp challenge yet. The blisterwood flail is a common staff used in pvp tribridding and honestly a good mage setup overall. Even if it didn't get him the win it would've been much closer and more entertaining to watch.

After running the numbers, the DPS of the magic setup is higher by approx 0.7. The fight lasted 227 seconds, which equates to approx 160 extra damage link would have done. Thats about 7 sharks so the fight would have been MUCH closer if link hadnt thrown it by ditching the perfect magic setup. Also consider the extra time rargh would have been eating, and random variance, i think link has a decent chance here if her sticks with magic

The reason magic isn't usually good in PvPs is because you have shitty magic gear using bolt and blast spells. Surge spells are OP af and it would have been FAR more entertaining seeing magic played out.

Well you did say if every fight was one sided you wouldn’t have content.... link clearly had the rng and the winner was decided within the first seven bids, but to make the content more appealing you gents threw the I went dragon sword route? When the flail had almost as much slash as the dragon sword had plus magic I just don’t believe it. I love your guys content but maybe move onto something new for a series. We love you guys and the collaboration do something new for a series and I’m sure it’ll be just as positive as “then we fight” series.
