Love these challenges. They actually allow cards that normally wouldn't see play have uses and they show off cards you most likely have forgotten about. Its a more unique experience you wont really get in any game mode.

You made a joke about it, but screening each other's decks might make a good video! Each person would build 3 decks and give them to their opponent. The opponent gets to veto half of each deck, then both players create a new deck using the remaining, non-vetoed cards. Finally, play a game using each deck. A variant of this would be to steal half the other person's deck, instead, but the logistics would be a little more confusing/trickier.

You should do one of these where its decks that would be standard at one point or another. Like you both bring a deck each that would be legal in say year of the kraken, year of the raven ect. And maybe ban discover effects for extra realism

What about a format where you start an arena draft, and you pick a card from the 3 to add to your pool of cards you can build a deck with, and then the other person gets the other two cards, and then the other person goes and picks one and gives you the other two, so on and so forth.
