Absolutely. Much better singer than Sai Sharan or Anand Aravindakshan, both of whom must have paid their way to the title.

One thing. Many singers cannot always control their face while singing certain notes. There might be 2 reasons to pull strained faces. 1. They are enjoying the song. So they completely have no idea about how they look or what they are doing with their head or face. 2. They might be singing at the top of their range. This one can be corrected, but with a ton of practice. And for reason number 1, what is wrong with enjoying the song, when the song is meant to be enjoyed? Can only the listeners enjoy it? Can't the singers enjoy the beauty of the song and the composition and the rhythm?

I'm from Kerala. I'm sorry bcoz I didn't recognize this singer before I watched this video. Bt this song is my favorite and i didn't mind who sing this. Bt when I know this is the singer I searched all of his songs and all are amazing. I really felt goosebumps when heared this live singing. This was a magic created by the Legend A. R. Rahman sir and Sathyaprakash sir. Thank you all other musicians who worked behind it. It was a fabulous experience. Loved it ❤❤❤❤

I think among vijay tv super singers , this guy only singing very good in tamil movie and there is no doubt that he will become one of the leading playback singer in Tamil cinema .... I am big fan of him .. after spb.. Karthik...
