I received a bottle of Rasasi Hawas on 1/9/23. Its a 6/22 batch. It's a blue-ish color and not purple-ish. I sprayed 1 spray on my wrist ( so it would be far from my nose 👃 so I would not go noseblind). That one spray filled up my room and lasted on my skin for a long time. I could smell it all day. The smell was strong on my skin for 6 hours. It has a nice dry down also. I can only imagine how strong this frangrance will get after It macerate for a few months.🔥🔥. I don't know how the older batch smell/perform but I will say that the batch that I have is strong 💪 and smells nice! 👍

Are you indian? I heard that Rasasi sells the blue batches only in India.

@@jaybowie6529 So I guess there are different 2022 batches 🤔 mine is purple, same color than the OG. I compered it to the OG it’s weaker in projection but smells better, it’s like they balanced something in the juice. The Blue batch seems to project like the OG. Maybe it’s not an Indian batch, more like an area batch or something.

@@Carnivore.A.J Yeah.. that crazy. I have heard mixed reviews toward Rasasi. I keep reading reviews from people stating that the newer batches are weak. I have the new batch and it performs very well. It projects like a beast. Stays on my skin 8+ hours and days on clothes. Huge Sillage. You really have to be careful with the number of sprays. You can easily choke you and others out. 😂. I don't have the OG, so I can't compare. The one I have is blue-ish color and is a beast. No lie!! Plus, I'm letting it sit and macerate for a month or two and see what happens. 👌💪👍🔥 Plus.. I also think it makes a difference where or who you order from. I have ordered from several different vendors. I feel like some vendors have authentic fragrances and some don't. Just my opinion and experience.

Update..after a week of using March 2021 batch, it lasts atleast 11hrs on skin and it has been 2 days now and it has light projection off my shirt. The cap clicks in as well; hence, March 2021 is a killa.

I actually got this fragrance as a blind buy because I heard about it from another reviewer. It caught me off guard with how good it is. It's definitely a performance beast. So you don't have to use many sprays. My fiancè loves it. You were spot on with your review. I'm thinking about trying more fragrances from the Rasasi house. If anyone knows a few feel free to hit me up with some replies.

I'm getting to the end of a 5ml sample, and already ordered a full bottle. Love it. Yes, it has a synthetic element, but that is primarily in the opening, and it isn't offensive in any way. The bewildering blend of layers overcome any initial synthetic sharpness. Also, I've yet to see anyone else comment on this, but after an hour or more, I get a hint of coconut(!) in there, but again, that's probably just the many notes confusing my nose. :) Well worth the money.

@@rwyo83 I can't comment on YSL Y, as I've never tried it, but while Hawas shares some notes with Cedrat Boise, they are notably different. CB has a sharp citrus opening with a woody drydown, where Hawas has a spicy aquatic opening with a hint of bubblegum, with a woody / musky drydown, and I personally pick up a coconut-y "something".

Very good review! You do a much better job reviewing perfumes compare to other reviewers. You deserver more subscribers :-) I own number of Rasasi perfumes, including Hawas, and your review is spot on. In my opinion Rasasi is very under rated, price/performance is very good!! Their Junoon and Layuqawam is on par with Tom Ford when it comes to quality of ingredient and the way its blended, with nuclear performance that cost 1/3 Tom Ford. Hawas is very good and been hyped up for valid reasons, but sadly price have skyrocketed! For cheaper alternative try Lattafa Najdia, its same as Hawas with just more green leaf vibe, its much cheaper and a good performer.

But I think Nautica for $20 is prob the best option in terms of the scent holding up against other designer blue frags but with outstanding value. I mean, I have so many different frags, and my gf gives me the most compliments with the Nautica (she really likes the Versace too though). What are your thoughts?

@@rwyo83 Ummm I don't have ysl edp, I hae ysl Le Parfum so can't speak on that. I would probably say in my opinion hawas smells better than cedrat boise but cedrat is more versatile than hawas

Just got this today and it smells like invictus aqua 2016 for a few minutes then it smells more like Chanel allure homme sport eau extreme then goes into its own fruity thing and finally ends like a dryer sheet not bad and see this being a compliment getter but don’t pay more than $50 for this the cheap price is what makes it worth it!

@@mc01833 My batch is also March 2021. I’ve yet to compare to Aqua 2016 as I’ve never put my nose to it, however, compared to my Aqua 2018 it’s not even close. Have you, by chance, compared your Mar 2021 batch to any of the prior formulations of Hawas?

Smells nice on my s/o, like it don't love it. Synthetic aquatic smooth grape drink with some spices. Solid cheap middle eastern 'clone' you only need max 2 sprays of and will last forever, like CDNIM.
