Rasasi Luxury Line Oudh Al Boruzz - Truly Luxurious?!

8 years ago that Indonesia was $150. Today, it's about half that and definitely worth the hype. It's the best oud I have and ever smelt. A must have for all collectors and even worth a sample for the casual fan to experience how fresh oud can be. We often hear of the barnyard or medicinal oud, but if those are too much then this is a great fresh alternative!

I also got this sample box from Rasasi - ( I feel their retail price is too high though the quality is good). I like Rooh Al Assam the most. Abeer Malaysia is very animalic

Great video im interested in niche not known houses,i did try 2 of the boruzz line and when was in home i smelled the samples it was so great i wish i did bought them now i have to test them again.

good 1 man well described ive been looking for an expensive smelling masculine green scent without much of flowery notes detectable. i think i'll try and sample the indonesia. my only worry is tat if it feels too oudy then i'll have to pass

+Vicente Ortiz Jr. cool I have not yet tried Tasmeen...La Yuqawam is a great fragrance Man...if you like that type of scent profile it's worth it... and for around $56 I will spend that on La Yuq before buying any designer frag in that genre.

I've been contemplating buying all 3, I was also thinking about Rasasi atheer Cambodia. Rooh Al Assam stood out to me because I love rose but you say there are good alternatives to it, could you recommend a few for me to look in to? Great video as always, thanks 👍

Hey George! Glad to have you in frag com! I use Asrar pretty much anytime except for situation like a date or very traditional formal events. But most of the situations I have worn it in, are the office and night outs. Number of sprays I go about 3 sprays if at the office and 3-4 when it's a night out...1 on wrist, chest (undershirt) and back of the neck or ear. Smart casual will work great with this. Hey mr oz, do you still own a bottle of Indonesia. I purchased a bottle off of notino for $137.00 recently, and I was going to buy a back up bottle now I wish I did but as of today the last two bottles were purchased but I love the fragrance and want a back up. Do you know where I might be able to find one to purchase. I found a seller of eBay but I live in USA but it says it's in India but will be mailed in Dubai and I'm concerned about the customs price because the seller did mention there might be a custom price but it wasn't included in the seller price. Can you please give me some advice since I never ordered over seas. The seller is selling it for $180 and the shipping is $6. And according to Google customes charge 28.85% which is about 53. So all together I'm looking at $241 for the fragrance, is that worth it?

Since you are looking for a backup bottle I would wait...147 is a great price compared to 241 plus all the hassle and unknowns. 241 will get you a backup and about another 100 for another frag if your are patient. I would recommend waiting for Notino to restock. You have a full 50ml you can enjoy in the meantime :) .

+bhojwad I just double checked again and it seems the ebay seller I used does not have it listed. I got all the samples from him but he did not have them all listed as well...at the time He/She only had the 3 Oud based fragrances samples listed but did not the musk based samples - I had to ask by email if he had the other samples... and he/she listed it for me to purchase...Try to emailing at perfumes-de-arabia if you are interested (for reference what I paid: $27 for 3 samples of the oud based fragrances and $16 for the 2 musk based fragrance samples - both included shipping. Black leather is a fruitier and lighter clone of Aventus, if you are ordering Afnan Supremacy Silver I will recommend passing on black leather because they are really similar - between these two go for the one that is cheaper ($30 Black leather vs $60 on ebay for Afnan Supremacy Silver). Am excited to hear what you end up getting!

Hi MrOz, This is another great video and I truly appreciate you work and passion about presenting these interesting and very rare fragrances! Looks like Rasasi done wonderful job with Oudh Al Boruzz… I have some fragrances from Rasasi, Al Haramain and Ard Al Zaafaran, so you can imagine how useful are your reviews ;) Today I got 3 new bottles from Rasasi from their line - Rasasi Dhanal Oudh. Their names are: Jurrah, Nashwah and Ruwah. The reason I mention it is that I want to recommend you to try them and especially Nashwah - this is amazing scent!!! I have no word to describe how wonderful it is… Something like Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, but more dark, more woody... +MrOz - thank you for your response! I hope you will like these 3 Rasasi fragrances - all of them are masculine, woody and dark. I know you have tested a lot of wood/oud Arabian fragrances, so your nose is trained enough and you won’t be shocked by really oudy start of Rasasi Dhanal Oudh Jurrah :) About Al Haramain - it is a great house and I may recommend two fragrances - Al Haramain Maze 50ml EDP Spray version. It’s a great scent - fresh-lemony, a little bit floral, woody and gourmet at the same time. There is no dark oud here, no harsh start - everything is smooth and easy going. The bottle is a combination from glass and metal and 50ml weighs almost 400g ;) Maze is a wonderful light woody, bright, complex and a positive scent and really deserves attention. The other Al Haramain I would recommend you is Urbanist / Prive Silver - it’s a great mix between hazelnuts, tobacco and woods. Right from the first sniff it is wonderful scent, modern and there is no risk of pungent oud here. I don’t have Al Haramain L' Aventure, but I understand it’s very, very, very close to Aventus… In my country it is out of stock, but in your country at the moment is available... Asrar Indonesia smells like vomit! That's what my little boy says. He's only 5 and I totally agree with it! Bought it on your recommendation! You can have my bottle of you'll pay postage!

Lo vomit? I don't get vomit at all. it must be the black tea and oud combo that you don't like perhaps. But as for recommendations they are just recommendations - they validate or contradict your own preferences which prevail over all and the decision to buy a full bottle or a sample is all yours, so I find it misplaced to blame a reviewer for a decision you only had control off. If I review a fragrance that you own and love, and I rate it poorly, will you throw away your bottle just because I don't like it? probably not - in that situation you are overriding my recommendation and standing for what you like: you interpret my review as just my opinion of the fragrance. It should be the same thinking process when you hear a reviewer mention that he/she likes a fragrance you are not familiar: the reviewer is stating HIS/HER preference and extrapolates on who might like/dislike it, if you are not sure use your own preferences to decide if you even want to try it and if so whether you get a full bottle or not is your decision. own it. I wanted to really like it man but that smell at the base is a bit spike. I heard tea? It gets in my throat like a cigar. Something bitter down there. Want to say it's just different scent profiles then western but I don't know. The smell is just ... Not working for me. I need to have some other people smell it on me but I'd give it like a 6/10. I'm no expert just know what I like... Ouduh Al Boruzz is just not working for me bro.

Yeah it's definitely not a westernized scent with the oud note it's definitely a bit daring...especially i you are not used to Middle Eastern fragrances...I can see why you don' like it or it doesn't work for you. For scents I don't like I revisit it and if it does not work for me regardless of what friends/family think I resell it. There are so many scents to explore out there that there is not need to hang on to something that doesn't work for you :) . Thanks for your feedback.

I got mine when notino was around. I am not sure where else to get them. I have seen some for sale on some of the Facebook fragrance groups. I would not recommend overpaying for them...just keep an eye out for when there is a decent deal online or in the FB groups if you have an account.

NedaAlive I got it from Beautyspin. They are the only one carrying this in the US. I got the samples from a seller on ebay but it looks like they are not selling them anymore. It would so much better if these house provided sample sizes...by the way this as black tea in it so keep that in mind if you don't like this note :) . Thanks for watching!
