I tried Elysium at the department store today and really enjoyed it. I purchased a decant to get more familiar with it so I really want to thank you *** for the fougère video you did which lead me to that purchase. It’s totally void of the synthetic drydown in sauvage that personally annoyed me. I wanted a fragrance that could be wearable in my office (Asian company, IT job, US site) as a signature scent so that shied me away from Creed’s Aventus. Can you provide me some suggestions for layering with Elysium or similar fragrances? I may stick to the fresh options in the office but would like to go off script in the evenings. Thank you

Way better. It has many natural ingredients as opposed to Mont blanc. For example, the oak moss in it is real, along with a couple more. And, it has way better performance, And is blended better. It does a bit more smokiness, and the patchouli is amped a bit more. But, best aventus clone on the market.

It doesn't work on me even after 5/6 spays. It becmes a skin scent after an hour. People around me even can't feel it in 2nd hour or onward. Don't know it's an olfactory problem or poor performance of 2018 batch Oman. Although I am lover of Rasasi & have other many fragrances. They are really great performer. But may be Aventus & Avenus's clones have some different chemistry due to people become victim of olfactory fatigue 😕

I would go Haramain > Rasasi > Armaf. Rasasi is probably closest to Aventus but doesn’t last long. CDNIM last longer but the other two are better clones, Haramain a good balance

@@vide0guru I agree. Rasasi > Armaf. Though I hear a lot about Armaf CDNIM being beast mode and all that I don't think it's as potent as it probably used to be. I purchased my 2018 batch directly from their store after a lot of hunting to avoid being duped. Rasasi on the other hand worked better for me. Received a nice compliment the other day even after a long day's work. Definitely do spray on your clothes. Next stop 👉 Al Haramain.

Glad you are reviewing this. I really love Rasasi. Creed Aventus gets über 5 star reviews. And about those batches. So what batch is better?? I've also have read Aventus reviews where ppl detest Aventus. So the older batches. I DO NOT WANT FRUITY! Sometimes things gets so confusing. I'm super sensitive to any note, particularly synthetic. I guess I'm gonna sample the smokier version of Aventus. Honestly, tbh and to my embarrassment, have never smelled ANY Creed scents!!!😳😳😳 Yeah those goddamn clones I see everywhere. So I want to sample Creed. Now, what Creeds should I sample since I love dirty leather sandalwood ouds? I have heard of Tabarome etc?? Santal Royal...I don't want aquatic/light/tropical/sporty? Zebra is one of the better Creed Aventus clones (fruity batch) I have tried but, like all of them, it has not managed to duplicate those Aventus burnt-pineapple and smokey-birch accords that make is so special. Still, it is quite good and performance is also stellar in that it lasts 7-8 hours on my skin and projects slightly above average. Just a couple notes: yes, it does have that birch tar note, but I've had a 2013 Flacon of Aventus so it's definitely less smokey. Also, it performs well (for a clone) but Aventus stays with me 12+ hours. I now have something like 14 or 15 clone and Zebra is definitely a solid release. Sadly, my original 500ml flacon of Aventus is running on fumes and I don't think I'm going to order another one because, to me, I love that smokey birch tar accord which, I hear, is practically non--existent these days. Finally, the bottles are kinda tacky and kinda cool at the same time. Well worth the asking price if you're looking for a solid Avenus clone IMO. Cheers

@@beefbroth6539 Yep, I'm on my last 5ml of my 500ml flacon (circa 2013) and, had I known, would have purchased several gallons because I barely wear Aventus the past year or two since my Flacon has been getting low. I've had a new 1000ml Falcon sitting in my cart at the Creed Boutique (actually a pretty good deal when you buy the 1000ml bottle), but the thought of getting stuck with a water-down Aventus has me not wanting to fork-over almost $1400. I have something like 14 or 15 Aventus clones and, while they smell nice to various degrees, they can't touch that smokey--birch and burnt-pineapple of the original Aventus. Then again, neither can the new formulations because that smokey-birch (which I love) has been taken-down several notches. Offhand, the ones I enjoy wearing the most (in no particular order) are: Afnan Supremacy Silver, Reyane Insurrection Pure II, Al Haramain L'Aventure and Rasasi Rumz Al Rasasi Zebra Pour Lui (aka Rasasi Pour Lui 9325). I have tried or purchased some of the DUA Poseidon variants and they perform well (last a long time and project moderately) but they all have this very mild sour tone that I don't like. You can't really smell it in the air, but I do on skin. As for Pineapple Vintage...they just seemed like too much of a clone house, and giving away too many bottles to reviewers for favorable reviews, that I haven't tried them. Cheers.

But after watching Joy's video on Club de Nuit Intense Man, I realized I have the fruity batch (Made in France?) and not the smokey-birch batch (UAE?). If I had a smokey batch that many very well change my opinion since I'm a huge fan of the original Aventus birch-tar. Cheers!
