Flawless. I already loved your videos, but seeing that you are not a niche snob, despite your impeccable collection, and actually love and wear CDNIM and the pp clones (I am such a strong advocate of them, since I can't spend the money on decants and samples of the originals, these help me to get to know dozens of different houses I wouldn't otherwise) is really refreshing. Down to 20 ml of my 2016 creed aventus. I bought it along with royal oud the same time. Now 8 years later, i still have both bottles, and they both have roughly the same ammount of juice left. I bought zebra to supplement aventus except special occasions. I am pleased. Good performance, great sillage, and not only smooth, but very close to the real deal. Came here to get your opinion. Because of your video I bought Zebra. Thank you. I was not disappointed. What do you think of the parfums vintage clone? I bought the parfums vintage to have a fruitier one and use the Zebra as the smokier one. Never smelled club de nuit tho.

Hi Ali, thank you and if you do not live in Europe then it would be very difficulty to get hold of IMHO. You could try the ebay global site ebay.com and see of someone can deliver it to you. If you are based in Europe it should be dead easy to get hold of through ebay in your country.

Hi mate, this fragrance is very strong so if keep smelling your arm continuously, its probably giving you olfactive fatigue, a situation where your scent senses get numbed and you cant smell that particular thing. Its also called nose blindness. To test this, spray at at the back of your shirt and then ask your wife or Girlfriend , if she can smell you when you move. She will probably yes . You can also try it at the back of your neck. best test would be outside your house in the open.

Ive never smelled Aventus, but I have Mancera and CDNIM,and layered them to calm down the harsh opening of CDNIM. If thats what Aventus smells like, then I see why its highly rated

I bought the PP woody one and I must say it smells way better than my rasasi zebra. Rasasi smells smoky for my taste while the PP one is so smooth and creamy and bright that I just dont want to stop smelling it. Your review was spot on but im not so sure about the projection. The smell lingers close to skin and wears off in a few hours . I havent smelled CDNIM . Do you think CDNIM would be a better option if i am looking for something which lasts longer with a strong projection?

I think you should try CDNIM on skin at least before you buy. The PP version really jumps off me, even now after a year or so when I got it.

I’ve never smelled Aventus but I have a black atomizer batch of CDNIM, not sure what the exact date is but it’s probably late 2018. It smells very smooth and fruity from start to finish with the birch and lemon being prominent notes on the dry down with a tad bit of smoky ness and musk in the background. I barely pick up any pineapple, but maybe it’s just my untrained nose since I never really smelled a heavy pineapple note fragrance. It’s enjoyable and very unique. I’ll be picking up Armafs GIT Clone Tres Nuit as well. Anyone have any experience with the 2018 batches that have actually smelled Aventus, is it still similar?

Bob, very nicely described. I have smelled both the 2015 batches and the current batches of CDNIM. CDNIM borrows from the idea but isn't exactly the quality of Aventus. Its very nice don't get me wrong but comparing it to Aventus would be a futile exercise. If you get a chance get a 5 ml or 10 ml decant of the 17T01 batch of Aventus. Just to experience it :).

I have a few decants of different batches of Aventus and many full bottles of it's clones (Zara, CDNIM, ADAMS, Rasasi Zebra, Cavalier) that I sell at my local store. The only way to truly know how Aventus feel like is by using Aventus sadly, but some clones can come really close. I have the 2018 CDNIM (France version) as well and the opening to me is like a synthetic lemon whereas Aventus is more of a juicy pineapple. It's at the drydown where they come close. In the air, most people won't be able to tell the difference. Edit: I also found the opening of the 2018 CDNIM to be less harsh than the older versions (2015 and older)

I agree with how you summarized the differences and similarities between CDNIM and Aventus. Aventus is once in a lifetime kind of creation, even Creed haven't been able to create something as magical as Aventus in the last 9 years since its launch. by the Pineapple Vintage Intense is also a very good idea, although not a clone its simply stunning. I am planning to do a review soon.

The Alexandria version is very good, I like the opening a lot better than the actual Aventus, and on the dry down I'd say it smells about 97% identical. It's a good alternative. I would recommend.

Very disappointed with Alexandria's Aventus after the amount of hype this company had a chemical mess. However i will confirm their take on YSL Tuxedo is beautiful and certainly worth buying 30ml of as is their take on Ambre Nuit and Farenhiet both fantastic fragrance's.

I have and love Aventus but there's only 1 fragrance king, king Kouros!...a fragrance with a similar vibe to Aventus is Acqua di Parma's colonial note 3, not a clone by any stretch of imagination, but it offers the same kind of vibe and in my opinion, a MASTERPIECE! I hope you'll get your nose to it in the future! Wonderful episode, as always.

Oh lord I feel the same way, people will call me mad but to celebrate my 40 years birthday party I got an aventus bottle bacht 2020 and was disappointed the smell is not as good as CDIN and also did not last long as CDIN.
