I skinned one many years ago. They have a lot of fat under the skin, but the fur is very soft.

Joe you and Maggie are doing a wonderful job teaching your girls life skills. I wish my girls has an awesome dad but I do my best to ensure they are not missing out. I loved the precious and fun times I had with my daughter and son when they were your little one's age. I took them to parks and hiking as often as I could at the nature reserves near our home, and they came to love the Western states as much as I did through our vaations to Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, New Mexicon, Arizona, and Utah. Those trips are some of my favorites memories of the fun times I had with them when they were kids. You are a wonderful role model, sir. I love your videos. Keep up the great work you do. Later...

I know a guy who did it, and he says mink are ridiculously efficient at catching prairie dogs. I don't have any towns near me, so I haven't tried.

Joseph your beautiful little girl certainly takes after her daddy when it comes to animals, definitely someone to take over the family business, I watched a video that you posted about 6 months ago and omg Sherlock is amazing, and very intelligent too, we used to have mink farms here but now they’re banned, young Rascal is going to be another master rat hunter, just subscribed too, l find your videos very interesting l try and guess how many rats the dogs and now the minks dispatch, still can’t get over the size of some of them, tfs Julie 🇬🇧

This video was absolutely adorable and a joy to watch. I wish I could have a mink we have a big rat problem in the city where I live and I would have a blast training and hunting with my mink. I live in Canada and I don’t think they’re legal to own now that fur farming has been banned in Canada. I think at best I can probably only train a ferret. People have still had success with them…they’re just not as efficient as mink are.
