It's cool how this story tackles how two people can look at the same situation and have two different view points but both think they are right. Great review Brad

Thanks Josh! This was an interesting read for sure. I think the Rashomon effect is a really fascinating concept especially today with all of the things currently going on. Something happens and all of the witnesses tell a different story based on their perspective of what happened. Who is right and who is wrong? Is anyone completely right or wrong. Something to think about for sure.

Nice job, Brad! Yeah, Lucas had had interviews in Kurosawa so it can be a safe bet he’s seen Rashomon. Great job and we for sure talk more about the pimple and the class commentary of it

I thought that was an interesting way to sort of hint at the servant blemishes his morals.

Can I ask? What do you think will happen if all people make decisions like the characters in the story or if the only value left in this world is survival?

Thank you Brad. I was unaware of the details of this story. Very sad that people would be in such horrific and desperate circumstances. I wonder if the old lady's story about what the dead woman did when alive was even true? 🤔 Assuming that there are no honorable alternatives for survival, then death may be preferable. Begging is better than stealing. Is there truly no hope for a better future at all? Depressing and thought provoking story.

You're welcome Larry! This was a real interesting story to dive into and think of it from a more literary place. That's an interesting thought about the dead woman's history. It could have been a lie the old lady told to make what she was doing seem less evil in the mind of the servant.
It is out of the norm, but I love it! Yeah Una and Krypto are awesome Enjoyed hearing your thoughts on this.
