FA Cup finals 2 consecutive seasons - anyone can do that. Record in his first 100 games is better than Klopp, Pep and Fergy but who are they? Southgate was a giant when he managed a club; Potter was a star at Chelsea. De Zerbi has cleaned up - they are all clearly far better coaches. Anyone can see that clubs that sack managers regularly are the ones that do really well. Look how good Chelsea have been since they punted Tuchel. I don't think the speculation around the manager helps here. INEOS and the Glazers have to take their share of the blame, because when you let it be known you're looking to find a replacement but you don't actually have a suitable replacement lined up (and Potter or Southgate dont count as suitable) then you are inviting disharmony within the squad and exacerbating the issues some players have in terms of their commitment to execute the manager's gameplan. We saw the exact same thing under Rangnick. I think "Brand Rashford" has a lot to do with his selection on the left. Maguire was actually really good though, he can handle championship level pretty easily. Sadly I am not sure some of his teammates can.
