I’d respect Ineos much more if they did move Rashford on this summer. At least it would show Ineos are serious and not just in it for profiteering. He’s a one trick pony on £350k a week and this season he’s really let down the manager, the club and the fans. His body language stinks and he doesn’t look interested or committed in the slightest. His form has been woeful all season and he’s simply not worth anywhere near what he’s being paid. Personally I think his attitude and form is a real energy sapper to all his teammates. Nothing personal I just want him gone, we should have a worldly player for that size of contract.

Zero acknowledgement of the fact he played with a broken back, bad ankle, and many other issues. Apparently we just forgot that?? He seems like he's finished, body failed him, partially because of the injuries. And he's clearly mentally been broken by far more than United fans turning on him. He was broken well before this. Instead, he chose to go on holiday. He went to a nightclub the night before a training session in the morning in a season ha has been poor. Those are personal choices only he knows why he took them. So don't come at me for him not doing the basics on the field. Run, tackle, track back, do not give the ball away, and start walking, Lest I forget, MR has never had two good seasons back2back. Even last season that everyone is raving about, he only started playing well when he came back from the World Cup, and all that form ended after carabao cup finals and until now he has gone AWOL.

As much as I hoped Rashford, as a local lad, would be at the club forever and break records, I now believe we should move him on. His form has been terrible, which is bad but not unforgivable - but his poor attitude and lack of effort isn't. You can to some extent cover a temporary lack of form by working your arse off on the pitch, but he doesn't even do that. If we can cash in, we should - though I see him being another Martial as nobody will pay him what we do, so he'll not leave. Probably besr for both parties now if he does go though.

The decision to sell a particular player should always be based up on our style and vision of play. If the new directors (technical and football) think our style of play doesn't include Rashford, let's sell him and get someone who fits the profile. He clearly is out of form and being one of the most senior regular players, his form has direct affect on the performance of the team. I thought we should have sold him to psg before when there were links before we renewed his contract. I don’t give a crap if hes manc born or if hes an academy product hes not consistent at all and never has been. He has patches of productivity but he never puts in a full 90 minute performance and he never takes over games and even if he gets a goal in a game that’s literally all he does in that game. Lets get into technical and physical side of things. We can start with aerial duels here, how often does he win aerial duels compared to how often does he even try? What about pressing? All the top teams in this league their forwards and wingers need to be able to press and rashford is horrible at it. What about tackles? If you lose the ball the good teams turn quickly and try to win it back up the field when does he do that? What about pass completion percentage or assists? How often does he dribble into bad parts of the field then either lose the ball or not make the right pass and again lose the ball? How is rashfords shot accuracy for his career? I will admit he has some scored some pretty goals but he also takes a ton of shots from bad distances and angles on top of the sheer volume he does take. The final point is how completely ineffective he is against a low block or when his team needs to play a high possession style. I don’t know if its a low football iq or simply impatience on the ball or bad decision making but against a low block he looks like he has no idea what to do if he cant use his pace against a team. This last game he didnt play showed me a brief glimpse of what united could be like with an offense without rashford in it and it looked great. We passed we moved we crossed the ball we controlled the possession and pace of the game and forced our will on another team. We haven’t done that in a long long time. Now i know it was only Sheffield united and i know it wasn’t anywhere near perfect but we as a club are not full of high football iq players that are technical masters when it comes to playing a possession style of football, and we have a lot of players that don’t fit or simply can’t play that kind of style. The way we improve is to pick a style and go all in on players who can play that style. To me it looks like we want to play a higher possession high defensive line with a sweeper keeper. We have already started buying pieces for this style and frankly rashford does not fit that style at all. Its time to cash in on him and get players who can.

Rashford is 26 we should be seeing the best of him at his peak but instead we are seeing something else, crashing his car, missing training to go Belfast . Too much going on outside football while also being badly advised by people around him. Ship has sailed on the big price tag of Rashford. Instead of getting low balled for him, I'd rather coaches help re-build him. Physically and mentally. We saw his potential last season so let's get behind him

I would hate to see Rashford leave. We know what he is capable of. We know that he has not hit that mark this season. significant chunks of the squad have under performed as well. very difficult to be to build chemistry on the wing when the person behind you or next to you changes week to week.

It's a matter of motivation for Rashford. Where is his motivation? He comes into another season last year without having a striking partner to link up with and then he's just expected to make it work with this 20 year old kid that is bedding into a new squad/league. He did it all last season. Him and Bruno carried us from a G/A POV. All off-season it was "we need more goals" and then we (per usual) took our sweet time trying to get that into the squad.

Have to agree here, Rashford needs to go. Talented player but seems to have been emotionally scared by the last 6 or 7 years. Honestly it would probably be better for him too so good luck to him!

Ineos would be fools if they really want the best from United they need to talk with Rashford and find out what has been behind his lack of form this season and I totally agree with Howson, Rashford is the biggest media target they love to put shit on him imagine living under that pressure. If they let Martial and Varane go for free, move on from Maguire and Sancho who have high wages and manage to sell Rashford, McTominay and Greenwood for around 150-170m GBP. FFP wise you could spend more than 500m in new signings. I know signing 7,8 players or more in one transfer window can lead to complications like Chelsea but its exciting

There’s always a fine line between criticism and abuse, and social media blurs it completely. I think Rashford’s performances and attitude warrant criticism. Once united fans in the stadium, who mostly back the team, get on you, you know its not good. However, that does not warrant the abuse he’s getting when he is far from United’s biggest problems this season.

Hi Stephen. Love the show! I think the issue with #10 is he got his big contract and became complacent. No more fire. No more desire. And when the money is more important than the game, then the fans have every right to shout back at him. We don't pay to see him moping around and not giving 100% - and being a POOR example on/off the pitch. So I say good riddance - don't let the door hit you on the way out!

U18s are definitely playing the way ETH wants them to play. So, its easier to directly progress the youngsters in to the 1st team.

Just because United overpay for players doesn't mean other clubs will. Rashford has looked like he doesnt want to be at the club all season, he seems to regret signing the deal as he probably knows most clubs won't pay his transfer fee and give him those crazy wages.

Rashford is worth £80 million as a brand asset to PSG or Barcelona. Definitely played through injury in the past, however his standards have dropped off and a change would benefit both him and the club.

I would really love to see joao neves make the move to United this summer, however the price tag is expensive considering there are cheaper options, but I think he would do great things for years to come. Maybe sell rashford buy neves?

Alot of the time Rashford just plays because he has to. I think his heart is in it just not his head. The guy needs some bench time like any other player. Don't sell him, get the best out of him.

We're talking about a player that's scored more than 10 goals in the prem 3 times, for £350kpw it has to be 15/20 goals every season and matching assists but what we've got is a player who won't run, doesn't score and is affecting the rest of the team and this he scored 30 in the prem is bollocks he scored 30 in all comps it was 17 in the prem...he has to go.

If you are able to criticize garnacho about his performance then rashford needs to be addressed. I understand about forms ups and down, but with a player who seems like they play only for a wage increase its kinda time to let them go.

They say you reap what you sow. They also say to whom much is given much is expected. This is who Marcus is, 40% of the time he'll be good the rest he'll be below average. As for what is expected he doesn't give what is expected. He's not a kid anymore, we did this with Lingard till he was 29 saying he's still young. At what point do we say you have given what you can, you have been rewarded with the contracts and one of the biggest platforms to build your brand and we are no longer getting the other end of the bargain

Selling Rash is the best thing for him and the club. We need a different type of winger and he needs a fresh start somewhere else as he hits his prime. Love him but sell him IMO
