No one has even tried to sign Potter since last season. Tuchel can't even keep a job for more than 2 seasons without turmoil and Southgate got England relegated with all the talent at his disposal.

Part of me thinks Ten Hag was promised that he's staying. He's mentioned that he has a long contract which he will honour and maybe that's kinda led to him being a bit complacent and he's just trying to ride out the season to start afresh with a replenished squad next season. There really isn't anyone better than him that's available right now.

Ronnie Id be really interested in a more in depth discussion on Thiago Motta as I find Motta's relational style really interesting as a contrast to the Pep style positional play. Forwards dropping into crazy positions and overlapping centre halfs to create overloads sounds really interesting to me and Bologna look fantastic this season.
