This Thumari is in Raag Sindhi Bhairavi, also known as Sindhu Bhairavi . A very famous rendition of this Thumri is by Ustaad Nazakat Ali & Ustaad Salamat Ali of Sham Chaurasi Gharana of Punjab Gayaki. Their recording of this Thumri of 1951 sung in India is available on KZbin.

if you think you heard best of javed or rashid sahab then you need to hear more to them. They are gems of classical singing. Javed is in the leagues of Shankar mahadevan kind of classical singers in film industry. He is amazing and this is just a glimpse of is talent. Javed Ali Khan Sahab, I whenever I see & listen your performances live on KZbin, it gives me a lot of satisfaction But sometimes, I see you , you miss your image and agree with the other members of, who, according to me, give the partial discussions . On that occasion I feel very uncomfortable and think about . But nothing to do . Just tell me, what about that guy ? His plus point is only that , " He came from Ayodhya ." otherwise the mentors dicission 100 percent must have been different . My expectations from you are/ is another.
