FINALLY! I’ve been waiting for someone to explain the power system in Soul Eater because tbh getting power ups like Maka and Kidd did sounds difficult. It seems like the only manageable way to get stronger is to dedicate your life to the martial path like Black Star did (Which is based)

Ohkubo did such a great job at creating such an unique power system in the manga. Still hoping that Ookubo will work on a sequel and we might going get see interesting implementations of this power system (just let me dream about it...).

Well this was a pretty good vid, explaining the basics of soul water and it’s power system. Not too much to say except that this concept of souls as a power system is very intriguing. With all the ways it can vary described here, and all it’s other uses and variations that hopefully will be talked upon later. Everything was very well written and well though out, as well as well spoken. ThTs pretty much it, though one thing I will say is that the very concept of this power system is very unique and VERY meaningful. With the power system literally being based on who you are as an individual and how you go about life alongside others. It’s a very creative, well though out, and meaningful power system. I can’t wait for more content up coming, hope you guys are doing well and that the videos are doing well. Hope to see you guys soon!

Well i didn't expect people to actually be interested... Welp, here i go! But here's the Tl;Dr if you want : [During her attempt to create a Kishin, Medusa would modify a "subject" soul in order for them to suitibal for a Black Blood experimentation.] So the idea goes like this: Medusa actually had multiple project and experimentation with Black Blood to create a Kishin. With Crona, she used Black Blood to create a fusion of a Demon Weapon with a Meister. But what if she used it simply to power up the body and create some kind of supersoldier Meister, similarly to what Maka and Soul do together. However, if it was already pretty hard for the duo to do it together, you can imagine how impossible it is for a singular individual to do... Unless if course, their soul are manufactured for this. Medusa would proceed to "gather" multiple "test subject" and experimented on them to create the perfect soul for her project. The great majority of those subject wouldn't survive those experiments and even less of them would remain relatively sane after. Eventually though, she would abandon this project and focus more on Crona, leaving them to die in some forgotten lab. Thankfully, the victim would eventually be found and freed but would now need to live with the fact that they where not like anyone around, not only because of the Blood flowing in them, but because their soul, the very source of their being, was no longer the sacred heaven it should have been. Now, the questions of who rescued the victims, what happened to them afterwards or even what kind of soul could control Black Blood are all interesting... But they are also very long, not really in the context of this video and would, in fact, require me to do a whole video about it. In other word: Tha-Tha-Th-Th-That's all folks!!!

The fact that most anime watchers of this series, never read the manga and that this series never got an RPG is criminal. If the Manga fights were in the anime, most of them would be on a lot of people's top 10 list. An RPG for this world like Diablo or something would be perfect, because of how varied this power system is. So many factors can go into building different characters, that it would actually be a really satisfying PvE game, and a complex PvP system, where there are tons of builds people can do.

God this reminds me of an old fan character I made where he was a meister who could form a weapon out of nothing ( I made this character for a dungeons and dragon game my friends were in) the big plot twist was that as a child he was forced to eat his sister's soul who was a weapon but instead of becoming a kishin there souls began to partially merge ( it was also partially the reason why he could hear voices in his head as they were lingering thoughts of his sister)
