You need to input some commands to use special shot. The command depends on the stage number. Here are the commands. Stage 1 : ↓↘→ + shot Stage 2 : ←↙↓↘→ + shot Stage 3 : →↓↘ + shot Stage 4 : →↘↓↙←→ + shot Stage 5 : ←↓↙ + shot

G-Darius is by far the best. Pick up and play for both beginners and bullet hell vets.

Gaiden is a lot easier than G-Darius (especially if you use autofire) so i would recommend that for less experienced shmup players - its soundtrack is also more appealing to a lot of folks since it has a completely different sort of energy. Personally i would say G-Darius for sure though, as the enemy captures and far deeper scoring system really take it to another level!
