In 4 and the beginning of 5, yes, he was very immature, but there were still hints of him being more reasonable and mature than his family members. Like when Nero offered to give Yamato back to Dante at the end of 4 because he felt he didn't need it after saving Kyrie. That's a major contrast to Vergil's immature "No it's mine" way of thinking, no?

​@Brotally SwagicalI mean, Nero DID just lose his arm a month or so before Dante called him deadweight, not a lot of time to come to grips with losing a part of himself, Admittedly Dante was trying to protect Nero and was making sure Nero understood that in his condition he wasn't exactly in the greatest condition to help. but who really knows, all a matter of perspective really, To me I can understand where Dante was coming from and why he was trying to keep Nero away [injured] but the Deadweight comment is a bit...well... of a Dick thing to say, True but..you know, anyway, have a good night!
