The Finns eat these cardamom-infused buns on Shrove Tuesday. They come in two varieties of fillings: raspberry jam or almond paste. A native Finn has informed me that these are never to be mixed. Below, I provide the recipe for both types so that you can try them both (separately, of course). The dough used in these Laskiaispulla is almost identical to that which you can find in Norwegian school bread (Skolebrød), so if you master one of these recipes, you'll be able to make the other quite easily!

I'm very happy that you made a collaboration video with Mikko, I discovered his channel a couple of weeks ago and I was very happy that I was finally able to watch the videos about Finnish cuisine in English. I hope you'll make another collaboration in the topic of rye bread which Finns are famous for. Btw, I got to your channel while I was searching for the recipe for korvapuustit so I guess that I just flow on that Finnish vibe 😁
