The docker yml file on your github is 2+ years old. Are you able to share the config file that points to the correct image for the pi5?

Have you looked at github.com/raspberrypi - thats where Raspberry Pi put all their modifications to Debian for ARM64.

I used that MQTT example code that comes with the Weather hat and configured it to send data captured to the MQTT broker. I then used Nodered to listen to those messages and send them to InfluxDB. Grafana can point at that InfluxDB server to display the dashboard data

Unfortunately Home Assistant doesn't seem to work on pi5 yet.

I have it running on my Pi 5 at the moment. I'm running it in a docker container, and it works perfectly!

@@kevinmcaleer28 Im new to Pi and relatively new to linux (coding was a pastime of mine about 20 years ago) - I see now what you meant so I will look into that - Currently at the stage of trying to vnc while awaiting delivery of a micro hdmi without great success so far. 2 hours down, will try again tomorrow. Thanks for your videos though, Im sure I'll be checking up more of them in the coming days

@@kevinmcaleer28 My bad, but it's within docker meaning that it is not allowing the addons part - Don't get me wrong, Im sure it's all easily done when familiar with unix but I'm personally out of the loop. Slowly getting there. I now have HA running via your tutorial here, thanks. Still have a lot to do to move away from the smartthings etc ecosystems though

How many gb ram does it requires for A.I project?

That entirely depends on the size of the model your using, 4gb is more than enough for most

Great for hobbiests, but I really wish people would stop using this for design in production. That's not what this product is best for. Also can't wait till they're no longer given the "Educational" product cost reductions from their suppliers. This should see the price increase as it should.
