I just looked at the RP2350 datasheet. It's 1347 pages long! That's literally as long as War and Peace! p.s. Hi Paul!

Thank you for the video, and BTW, did you try ETM or MTB on Raspberry Pi Pico 2?

Do we get a socket for the pga2350?

Do you think the Pico2 is going to be compatible with the deprecated Pimoroni ESP32 WiFi/SD board? I assume these worked using AT type commands over SPI? I have a couple of these collecting dust!

So the pico 2 is using the newer Cortex M33 architecture, which is ARMv8, or 64 bit. But what are the RISC-V Harvard 3 cores? Update: they are 32 bit cores RV32I cores. It seems weird to pair two 64 bit cores with two 32 bit cores. Unless those RISCV cores are used for really low power deep sleep modes?

Pretty sure M33 is a 32-bit arch. ARMv8-M, not ARMv8!

From what I read, the Pico 2 has ARM and RISC-V variants, not both on the same board. I could be wrong though.

still using micro usb? are you kidding me? 😩

@@serceband I’m also not very fond of that, but it doesn’t break backward compatibility. Perhaps a ‘USB C’ version with the extra IO pin ‘B’ version of the RP2350 will also be released some day? (While using USB 1.1 or 2.0 protocol) EDIT: check at 6:20
@cthoadmin7458Ай бұрын
Yeah that's disappointing. I'd have paid a little extra to have had that. I guess wait for the clones...

Keeps the price down at the moment I guess? And why would you need usb-c to transfer small programs? For myself I would prefer a version with ethernetport (not wifi)....
