hi heather i have pages of hand desighned pop up cards and was wondering if i can take a picture of a desighn i made and turn it into a svg with all its score lines?

Hi! What I would probably do is take a picture (or scan it) and then bring the picture into a vector program and trace over it. It would be nicer and cleaner that way. But if you really do just want to go with a picture, you probably could, but you'll still need to add the score lines manually in design space. BUT all your cutouts should come through ok.

Hi! Thanks so much for your kind words and for subscribing! :) Can you let me know what happens when you click the link? You can send a screenshot to [e-mail]. What should happen is that your browser window will show the Design Space splash page, and an "Open" button, and you have to click the "Open" button. Anyways, if you still have issues, please email me a screenshot :) I'm not able to provide it in another format, since it includes the score lines, and I can't really add those via an SVG unfortunately. :(

In the part where we add the text, change the text later to type "draw" rather than "cut". That should do it!

Hi! For some reason when I go to slice when I am creating the text, it deletes one of the letters in the name. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

Sometimes it can be a little buggy. Try ungrouping the text, and then slicing just that one letter with the rectangle.

Hmm, it still works for me... what happens when you click on the link? It should bring up the Cricut landing page, with 2 buttons (Open/Download). Then you click open, and it should open Cricut Design Space and go to the project.

@@amelinemelou3932 I figured out how you can find it. You have to filter by Cricut Community - if you do "All Projects", it won't work. Then type in heathercashart. Then you should be able to find it!
