Guys, a lot of people struggle with a hitcrystal, but there might be something you might not know: do not hold W when you hit your target, once u hit them stop holdin W and start placing obby and crystal them, its so much easier (It doesnt mean you shouldnt move at all tho, there are scenarios where you have to move)

@@Garfield-bd2ki blast protection would only protect you from crystals but protection 4 is gonna protect u from both swords and crystal (prot 4 is also very good at reducing damage of crystals but not as great) I recommend u to use prot 4

The reason why people with their legs the same level/higher than the crystal took more damage is because minecraft calculate the distance and obstacle's explosion resistant to your feet, when your foe is 1 block below, the obsidian is protecting their feet, so they took almost no damage. That's why some people place two block of obsidian when they're hit to negate explosion damage

Its so hard making the jump from scroll wheel to hotkeys. Also can you please cover the "whens" in for detail, i notice you sometimes place the obby before you hit them. what makes you decide to do this?

It's def a change to switch to hotkeys, but a very rewarding one. Pre-placing obi just makes the hit crystal combo easier, but if you place while they're mid air it is less expected and harder to counter
