Rasta student sues Achimota school, demands to be admitted and compensated | Citi Newsroom

The family of a student denied admission at the Achimota School because of his dreadlocks has sued the institution at a high court citing discrimination.
In the suit sighted by Citi News, the student, Tyrone Iras Marhguy, maintains that his rights are being violated by the school’s actions.

This case goes beyond the boys..it should start a precedent. If our president can travel to the Americas and call people to come back home, we need to prepare ourselves for handling such diversity situations. That's why the supreme court should be involved.
