I didn't think the ballistic computer would be all that useful at shorter ranges. It was interesting to see the range pop up on the screen and see the little red cross hair moving. Great work, thank you.

I think it will flash in slightly different positions but I have 3 and they all flash top left.

Hi mate, Do you take your Arken Zulus off your rifle as it looks quite bulky to go into pouch🤔 If you do does it effect zeroing when put back onto the rifle🤔 Cheers

Ever since I received the Zulus, the Alpex rarely gets used. The Zulus is so compact, lightweight, LRF/BC built in and CHEAPER!! It is a really good scope to use. arkenoptics.uk/ho923k

I have 2 Zulus scopes. I use a ZB Lite Pro adjustable on one and a EagleVision on the other. Standard mount is fine, but the adjustable mounts allow you to centre the crosshair which is very I,portent for me because I produce KZbin content.

It's hard to decide between them but at the moment I seem to be using the Arken more due to its lightweight and compactness. The low light capabilities of the Alpex is really good but the Arken isn't far behind though.

How do you find the scope at really close range I have one perm that the range can be from 7 yards in the grain store is the scope usable at this short range oh and awesome video as usual 👍

Maybe so, but ATN have had massive reliability issues over the years. Only the lucky few get a reliable one. The build quality is much different also.

Brilliant piece of kit & reveiew Lancs - so on that basis I've managed to buy one. Need advice about the SD card tho. In the manual that comes with the scope it clearly states to use an "TF Card?" I contacted Arken Team and they confirmed "It supports 32-128g tf card. It is recommended to use a big brand of memory card, to ensure that the data will not be lost and other problems" I even rang Optics Wearhouse for advice and they just said they're awaiting delivery of these scopes & can't comment (yet) or advise on using SD cards as an alternative? What is your advice? Btw I enjoy your channel & the marksmanship skill you show mate. Cheers Bob.

Yeah, the 3x interests me too. However, I do wonder is a base digital zoom of 5x better? Being a digital scope all zooming above base will be a digital crop of the full image. The image quality will drop as the zoom crops in on the centre of the full image. On the other hand, a 3x lens tends to have better light gathering capabilities which may result in just as good zoomed/cropped images as the 5x. I can't wait to see some comparison tests.
