These are still cool looking figures to this day. I have both complete from the Vintage line. It is disappointing that Playmates skimped on the accessories for these 40th anniversary figures. Rat King back in the day came with an extra accessory of a “Rat Hook” grappling hook, and Casey Jones came with 2 broken bats.

Kyle I have a question about this line. I am a completionist when it comes to collecting, I had these when I was little. These were the TMNT of my youth, and I have thought about collecting all of these classic Playmates TMNT. Here is my question has Playmates said that they will do all of the characters or are they going to produce just certain ones. Before I sink a lot of money into eBay with the vintage ones I'd consider buying the newer ones if they are going to make them all. Love the channels as always keep the hard working going.

No word and a lot of things we do not find out till they hit retail. It’s very old school style.

@@stecermj0 some figures they can’t redo as the moulds were not preserved. For example they rereleased the Pizza Tossin Turtles except for Donatello and it seems they could not do him as the original mould was destroyed. It would be great to have the rare ones like Hotspot, Scratch, and Sandstorm reissued but they seem to be doing the popular ones that are not that hard or expensive to find on eBay already.

The articulation on these figures are so weird. Only ones I have are the original Michaelangelo and Pizza Tossin’ Mike. Even compared to vintage MotU, they feel so limited. Again, no nostalgia factor for me when it comes to TMNT. That being said, I’m somewhat indifferent to Rat King. Nothing really stands out for me with his design other than his face sculpt sort of reminds me of the Toxic Avenger. I guess if I had some nostalgic feelings associated with the figure, I might like it better, but he just looks kind of meh. Casey Jones, on the other hand, is always a badass! If I ever decide to pick up more of the core figures from this line, Casey would definitely be one of them. ~Damon
