I've been to Victoria Bay when I visited, not far away from the show, I reckon. You didn't win anything but you had fun and that's all that counts. Plus you kept the rat culture alive and well represented.

I a lot of people can take an old car and slap on some Bondo and a shiny paint job but it takes a person with a real imagination to take all different vehicles and put them all together and have something that looks cool in end.

Patina cars and trucks and rat rod cars and trucks are by far my favorite! They are cars that aren’t trailer queens and you can drive them without the fear of scratching a 10-30 thousand dollar paint job! Patina a rats live forever!!!!! Trailer queens go back to your environmentally controlled garages😎👍

Thank you for taking us to the car show! Maybe next year you can turn some heads with the Hudson, Reno Bug, and the Rio ramp truck! Since the Rio is not going to be a rat it might get some respect from the hard-core car restorers. The old preserved cars are beautiful and the money and skill it takes to restore them to better than new is impressive, but after looking at row after row of them I realize that other than color they are all basically the same and have little character or "soul". Taking a rusty discarded hulk that the purest restorer would pass by as hopeless and giving it a new life for cruising the roads is far more impressive in my book. Human beings tend to project feelings onto inanimate objects and for certain those hot rods and rat rods are having the most fun! I really love this channel, it's quickly becoming my number-one favorite, and for sure it's the one I look forward to the most.

i LOVE the road trip and thinking the show should sell tickets just like aussie police sell live tickets to upcoming drug busts.but ,an you need be quick to get a front row seat to catch the action.but the bad guys dont why everyones sittin out front lol...but seriousle the show was a killer n cars were of highest builds...im pleased you brought BS meter n next time put microphone lower so we can hear true real BS from smaller ppl please..this video in my opinion is your greatest yet. Wow! Great video! I had to laugh, the truck at 22:34 has a license tag from Kansas USA. The county number "22" is the count I live in! Kansas used county numbers on their tags from 1930-50. Small world!

That looks so good Div! Don't know your laws overthere but here we have a Fun Killing Organisation called the TÜV (Technical İnspection club) which would never let us drive a Rat Rod on traffic. Therefore the Rat Rod community here is very small. Unfortunate for us, we share the car laws with mostly Germany - everything is forbidden!

Love the road trips, the laughter is infectious! Whilst rat rod is not my personal preference, the engineering and thought that goes into there creation is no less than that in any hot rod ( my pref.) The restorers are just missing the point, they have admiral dedication but do not really need to be creative as they have to follow the rules. Keep up the good work.
