Reused enemies is a lame complaint for a game of this size, variety and QUALITY. You'll find more enemy variety in Stormveil than in many whole games, even critically acclaimed combat focused games like RDR2 and GoT. I love fighting the different elemental dragons for example, so hearing that there are new region accustomed dragons is nothing but good news to me.

My favourite part about people talking about the Skeleton dragon, is that TRC has 80% of its enemies recycled from the base game. Bloodborne's enemy variety being abysmally bad, and one of the main story bosses in TOH is a fucking reskin with a horrible phase 2.

A lot of base-game stuff is gonna' look pathetic next to this. PvP might implode again, but that's a sacrifice PvPers are probably willing to make. The "Light Greatsword" is just a standard longsword. The weapons named "Longsword" in all the Souls games are arming swords, not longswords.

I know it’s minor lol, but to your second point: Miyazaki specifically stated that he doesn’t play “FINISHED” products. He will not play his games when they’re shipped, but he will when he’s working on it. Somewhere for Armoured Core 6 development, despite Miyazaki leaving the heavy work for someone else, it was stated that they will NOT ship the game if Miyazaki can’t beat every aspect of it - and this should apply to every other game too

I estimate the dlc is going to add about 20 hours of main game content. When Elden ring came out they said it would take about 50 hours to beat, obviously theirs a lot more content that adds to gameplay time, but you could technically beat the main story in about 50 hours. 10 bosses when the main game had 15, 4 new legacy dungeons when the main game had 6. We saw 2 legacy dungeons and 2 bosses, considering Radahn was not in a legacy dungeon I think this all fits nicely, within those 3 hours of gameplay in the starter area they probably had access to about 20% of the dlc. All just a guess u know 😂

Nice how these different youtubers seem to focus on different things, gives a fuller picture. Only think I don't like is when they say that something damage is lacking. I get it when something has abyssmal damage but when they just kind of suggest that it kinda just have lacking damage I don't know what I'm supposed to measure it again. Like does it have "lacking damage" because it doesn't 4 hit bosses like the meta meta? Or does it have lacking damage because you actually need to hit the boss 100 times to win? I'm one who play for coolness and not performance, so I don't care if it's actually the best weapon or spell to use as long as it is viable.

You want a Carian Light Greatsword. I want the Needle Knight's Sword to be a light greatsword for my greatshield paladin to be able to do some fancy footwork with a sword bigger than the Miquellan Knight's greatsword. This DLC is looking so good. Hoping we will fight some of the divine beasts or their representatives. Anyone else think that the outer gods essence could have once dwelled within the divine beasts? Scorpion Beast -> Rot, Twinbird -> Death, Maybe a wolf for the moon, and maybe the lion represents the sun, not that we have an outer god of the sun. Godwyn being the prince of death and bearing the Twinbird's power might make him a suitable candidate for representing that divine beast. Really hoping this divine beast lore ends up being a big part of the lore and gameplay. Some minor research is pointing towards egyptian and more alchemical inspirations in these divine beasts.

aight THEORY: I think IronPineapple is wrong when he says it is half the length of the base game by taking the time it took him to get through 2 bosses and multiplying it by 5 basically for the 11 bosses we know about. Remember that the final stretch of the main game was like 4 bosses in a row. there will likely be 2 or 3 bosses in a row at the end of the dlc. so it will be more like 40% the size of the main game.

Lots of stuff for Martials and Spellblades, but don't see much of anything for Casters beyond spells. I would've loved a new weapon type called War Catalysts, spell foci that can be given Ash of Wars, Buffs, and/or Infusions. Guess we'll have to wait for a Caster dedicated game, that most likely won't ever occur, for some actual Caster gameplay improvements beyond the barebones treatment.
