I was honestly waiting for him to go get a chair and stand on it to get the treats!! Border collies are so intelligent! They are beautiful doggies!! ❤❤❤
@slimjim4ever2 жыл бұрын
My 10 month old border collie actually does that. It’s understandable because I have 2 small children as well & by observing them my Border Collie picked up such rascal behavior

No separation anxiety there, lol! He can't wait for you to leave so that he can steal as much food as he can! 🤣🤣🤣 What a clever dog! ❤️

@@melaniej.8357 I had Border Collies too. They're far too clever for human understanding. Instead of a Beagle playing Porthos, a Border Collie would've been smarter for the crew of the NX-01 Enterprise. He would've made sure the crew got to their destinations and herded new crewmembers and guests were able to get around Instead of just sleeping and pretty much farting all day due to all that cheese Archer gave his Beagle Porthos.

My Tess saw me using a stick to pull a small box of crackers on a shelf closer to me that I couldn't reach one day. I put the stick in the corner of my kitchen and forgot about it. Later that day, I found the box if crackers on my sofa and guess who was helping herself? Luckily, they were the Nekote peanut butter crackers and only one pkg. inside had been broken into and the stick was on the floor! I told her as I took the box away, " You're lucky I'll let you have those crackers. I put the stick in my utility room and the box back on the shelf after I got one pkg. for myself. I should have not let her see where I put both. She outsmarted me again that night by opening my utility room door and getting the box down again. Was one pkg. all she wanted or all she could get out before she heard me coming into the kitchen? I waited this time to hide both, went to bed-with her-and closed my door that night. "No more cookies tonight!"

Border collies are ridiculously smart. Sometimes I think they are just pretending to be a bit stupid and when you are not in the house they would be cooking dinner or driving a car and do groceries or something.

I had to chang door handles from flat bars to round knobs or my border collauie would open doors. She would climb on something and open the window latch and push fly wire out and go out and come back later. Her and daughters would herd wild pigs and bring them to me so i could shoot them.
