Yeah darn windows... could have been a windows update or driver update from windows... It's all fun until it doesn't work. Try and have a good day.

Windows can be so finicky at times. I have had the same ethernet issue in the past. Usually, a good update of drivers or windows updates will do the trick in most cases. Hope it stays up and running, Dave!

I do a system restore on my pc once a year to keep it running optimally. The only times I ever have slowdown is when I have something downloading or my wifi is acting up, which it hasn't since Spectrum came out and replace all my wiring and upgraded my router.

Maybe add a wifi card instead of ethernet? Just built a new PC and went smooth. If you are interested, LMK it wasn't hard

Is it possible that this was just an issue with your ISP, your internet connection itself. If you did a speed test and it came back with a download speed of 6 Mbps, it probably isn't the PC, it's hard to say not knowing all the specifics, but to me this just sounds like a temporary ISP issue and not the computer, a system restore is unlikely to fix this type of issue. Could be an issue at the router or modem or even further downstream with your ISP equipment. Like I said without more specifics it's hard to say, but I would err on the side of ISP and not computer, by the way, I work in IT and have a degree in systems networking and system security. Not to toot my horn, just saying, I work in the field and have plenty of experience.

My phone and my other computer were fine. It’s the second or third time it’s happened to this particular computer.
