Absolutely hate using a ratchet bender or hydraulic bender on wire. The 90s it makes are soo tight and ugly in my opinion. Only use them in tight spaces. Other than that I bend it by hand

I always strip big wire before I cut or bend it. Much easier to work on a straight wire.

Yeah, because wearing PPE makes you a pussy and people who work hard don’t wear their PPE. I’ve been on countless job sites where gloves are required 100%. It’s just good practice and common sense. You should take this video down. It’s a poor example in several ways, starting with safety. You’re not wearing gloves and you cut yourself. You should be using a wire stripping tool instead of a knife. Hopefully you have figured out how to make the video so that it’s not turned sideways. We use this tool. It makes sharp turns quite well. But most of our bands are made on a table which we constructed our self.
