I’ve had the ordinary Bahco for years and it never fails. I also have their T Handle 1/4” drive version which unwinds screws that have been driven home hard by an impact driver with ease. I recently had to gain access to an external plant room housing the boiler in an empty Manor House. The whole building was empty and had been secured by my colleague, all windows/doors had security panels covering them. My colleague gave me a special bit to undo the fixings, I put it in my T Handle socket and took all the security screws out no problem.

The wera kk might feel hollow but I’m a plumber and I’ve cranked on it for 2 years and it still feels like the day I bought it and the bits are amazing

Thanks for watching and commenting. Sure but there's plenty of alternatives for ratcheting screwdrivers, and others have things that the Wera doesn't like knurling or longer shafts, or even stronger magnets or more bit storage

The Xiaomi 16-in-1 is still a Wiha collaboration I believe. It even uses Wiha's double-sided bits which I'm a big fan of, though I prefer the handle design of the 8-in-1. Wish it was still available.

Thanks for watching and commenting. The 16 in 1 is not a Wiha collaboration and the bits don't have Wiha on them, they also don't match the dimensions of the Wiha bits even if they're double sided by a few mm

Awesome Review. Just need to add the Felo Ergonic Ratcheting Pivoting Scredriver it has no long shaft but it is by far my favourite ratcheting screwdriver. Also the Gearwrench 8940 40 pc ratcheting screwdriver set is not bad its kind of their knockoff of the snap on, it just came off feeling a little cheap.

The Wera kk might feel worse than the shorter Wera probably because it has on board bit storage so it might be a harder material. Where the shorter Wera doesn’t have that so they could probably use a softer material on the grip. I noticed my Wera kk has quite thin walls on the handle around the bit storage so I figured they probably used a stiffer rubber for rigidity who knows!

Amazing comparison and breakdown! Thank you very much! I prefer to use friction tape to hockey tape, but to each their own. I’d also recommend snap ons more expensive ratcheting screw driver with the over molding. It’s expensive, but can be found on the secondary market for 30-40 range if you’re not in a hurry. It’s got the best grip of any ratcheting screw driver for my hands (x-large size, which also makes their stubby the best ratcheting stubby for me personally).

Ive had many mentioned here and broke many, the newer snap on is nicer to use btw and has interchangeable bit holders, short, long, 1/4 square. worth trying. Dont use any anynore though, just a drill/impact driver/cordless ratchet. And for the price of battery tools today this could be more cost effective and they're certainly more versatile
@htr5372
@htr5372 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and commenting. Many of these ratcheting multi bit are very durable and I have yet to see them break even under professional use (they require a huge amount of torque to break which is simply not possible for the majority of people). The newer Snap On Instinct ratcheting is simply overpriced and not really worth the money in my opinion. As for price or cost many of these in the review aside from the LTT, PB Swiss, Snap On are quite good value for the money. Definitely cheaper than what a drill or impact sells for even versus a cordless ratchet.

Thanks for watching and commenting. I really do like the Gedore, the version without bits is also my daily driver. I usually carry a bit set along with it. It's hard to really beat the lowest backdrag offered by the licensed Rolgear ratchet.

SNAP-ON SSDMR8BO also PALMERA 530250 also (trilobular handle mid development with instinct) JH Williams WRS-1 also ACESA 9410.00040 These are the more popular, but better screwdrivers made by Snap-on are actually those with trans-drive mechanism and modular such as SGDMRCE with interchangeable blades and accessories and something similar also under Gearwrench made in China spin off and again Matco, but only main modular system perhaps.

All these Wera handles are very slippery and their shape is very uncomfortable to manipulate. The bigger one is also toooo thick, so you can not get good grip because of it. Those engineers who created that shape, are idiots, who never tried to work with them. On my opinion WIHA has right ergonomic shape.
