RS3 Style Grill On Audi A3/S3 | Game Changer!

I’m today’s video we ended up doing one of the most common Audi A3/s3 mods! We installed the stock Audi Rs3 style grille on my 2016 Audi s3. This gives it such a different look and changed the whole front end. This is a fairly easy tutorial and cheap! The product link is down below. Props for doing a great job man, i watched videos of guys removing lights and getting washer fluid everywhere, you can tell you are abit apprehensive at first but you take the few seconds to approach it logically, car looks great btw :)

I believe the s3 grill can mount on the a3 but they look different from an appearance stand point!

I have an aftermarket RS3 grill on my s3. The Audi emblem is solid though, no holes in it, and i want to change it. Could i just buy a new emblem and swap it out?

Nice! And yes I believe you can change it out, I’m not exactly sure which one because there’s a lot of aftermarket ones out there with different fitment unfortunately so you’ll just have to research it a little bit

So if you have the big radar in front for all those functions you’ll have to order the one on the website that has the cutouts for those. In this video my car only has the parking sensors so this grille only had the cutouts for them and it works fine but you’ll need the other version !

5:24 how did you get this one out? no matter what tool I use, a ratchet or an electric, it will not budge... I used wd40 even and it is so tightly done that I cannot loosen it at all, any tips?

If they’re rusted in there and you’ve tried wd40 or heating them up there’s really not much left you can other then break the tabs and replace them it’s usually just a clip and then a screw

Since it’s the s3 it doesn’t come with fog lights so the housings you talking about are from factory

This will fit a3 as well, just have to choose the right one on the website. Some are for cars with parking sensors, some are not etc

Unfortunately those 3 holes are permanent but I’m sure you can cover them somehow. Personally I barely even notice them they blend in

I have the stock front bumper, do I also need to change it to honeycomb in order to fit the honeycomb grill

No this will fit your stock bumper, in this video here I have the stock bumper aswell. Only installed the grill

Thank you and actually held up perfectly. Unfortunately the s3 logo was a different style clip so I couldn’t put that one on this grill here. But they offer replacement s3 logos for cheap on Amazon, eBay etc. also I lowered my car and by accident ripped my bumper off and cracked the grille. So I ended up buying the rs3 bumper and repurchased another grill through this company. So stay tuned for a video on that if you’re ever looking to change out the bumper too
