Good Evening Mr Kevin On question 5.6) When you found the mols of CO2 did you multiple the numerator and denominator by 10 ? If that's what you did ,I could like to know why ?

For the last question (5.6) how do we know that the volume is for carbon ?
@verdigrisx Жыл бұрын
Sir Kevin you used 257 as Molar gas volume instead of 25,7 and the mass should be 19,46g

Sir dont we use the V/Vm formula only when the gas is at STP. [ if anyone else knows the reason pls answer]
@chi-dc5qh5 ай бұрын
At STP, Vm is always equal to 22.4 but we can also use the formula when the gas is not at STP if we're given Vm, e.g they say we should use 24.4. Hope this sheds some light.

In question 5.6 why don't we use the c=n/v formula since we are given the concentration and the volume at 40°C
@its.me.khanyo Жыл бұрын
4:57 what if i say, the reaction has reached equilibrium?
Sir um confused 5.6 y didn't u use the concentration to calculate number of moles and y did you use 500 instead of 300 bcz they gave u time at 20s which means volume is 300 not 500
@atiyahkhan3064 Жыл бұрын
You can't use concentration to calculate number of moles because HCl is in excess
@atiyahkhan3064 Жыл бұрын
You have to use the total volume of CO2 produced to calculate number of moles so you cannot use 300 because the reaction has not stopped

is it only called gradient when working with volume and time?

Kevin is it wrong to think of the @0:54 independent variable as the x axes and the dependent variable as y a axes
@erynnhodgson5 ай бұрын
No that’s how it is …
@ThabeloDemana4 ай бұрын
It's not always like that

The independant variable is always at the x - axis.And dependant always at the y - axis …
