One of best African military vehicles. It can stand in line with Russia and American vehicles from that period.

@Andre Oosthuizen yes ur right bro..I'm an ex 20 mm gunner from 1979 onwards and the 20mm cannon has a double belt feed from two ammo boxes, one loaded with ball and tracer rounds and the other with Armour piecing rounds so a gunner could select the right ammo for the right job hehe..and tanks have a few weak points like track wheels, joints at hull to turret and the back end of most tanks where the engin panels are..so could drive circles around tanks as a ratels top speed is a 120 kph too lol..making it a hard target to hit even though its so big.. and usually there's not only one ratel either creating a verry bad situation for a tank or two 😜👍

@@frednel4326 I was an Olifant man in the 80's. On an exercise on the border a 20mm accidently hit the rear end of an Olifant, easily penatrating the rear armour.

@@davidapfel380 yeah thats the reason why tanks go head on into battle and reverse out agen..a tank never shows its arse to the enemy because it is a soft point and the ratel prolly hit with a ap round right ?.. because though ball or tracer can do damage to many things it would be lucky to penertrate and cause any internal damage and as a ratel gunner myself I know for a fact a tanks lowest Armour count is at its rear by the engine covers and engine vents and so on because since they need to be man handled to open for maint they cant be too heavy lol 👍..but even though a 20 mil might disable a tank by damaging wheels or turret ring or engine the crew are still pretty much safe in there as long as they don't get out hehe..that's another story 🤣✌

Loved this truck...use 6x6 diff locks and pushed it 100km/h without a body roll. Without diff locks on it rolls like a tub at 60. Idiots didnt close the hatches thru an obstacle course ...theres gonna be lots clanging🤣
