Lots of people giving love to Danny and the first chap that talked to him a lot, but for me guys, that server was spot on. Perfect attitude and presentation, upselling but also saying "this will fill you up, you don't need any more" - really cracking service. I remember as a kid being brought up in Lancshire and my Mum buying potato cakes on Saturday afternoon from the market hall, then warmed up and covered in butter when you got home watching Dr Who Brought back many happy memories. The food was gourmet for a small cafe. No wonder the place was full.

Lived on woodseats for years and we're so lucky to have great cafes and restaurants all on same road. That place is awesome for breakfast and lunch and we've also got el Greco,kitos,viraaj and dos amigos all on chesterfield road and of course the legendary woodseats kebab

"That Place" reminds me of the Abbott & Costello comedy sketch "Who's on first base, What is on second and I don't know is on third". One of the greatest comedy routines ever made even though it is now 40+ years old - still as funny now as it was then. The food looked delicious considering it is such a small cafe. The service was first class, pleasant wait staff and a lovely atmosphere in the cafe itself even though you sit outside. The amount of food on each plate was enough to feed an army! They deserve a 10 or perhaps an 11 for the following: 1. Ambience 2. Friendly staff 3. Good quality food 4. Well presented 5. No scrimping on the amount of food on each plate. 6. And last but not least the price making it possible to bring the kids for a lunch without breaking the bank. 🇦🇺🇦🇺👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺

Ayyy, that's my city! I live close to Woodseats and it doesn't take me long to get there (maybe a half hour - 45 minute walk/5 - 10 minute drive depending on traffic), yet I've never been into That Place. A friend of mine has though and I've suggested we go there together some time in the future; she sent me this video too and I'm glad she did, this was such a fun and comfortable watch! Hope you come visit Sheffield again, we have a few hidden gems around the place.

Great video again Danny, on word about potato cakes, not sure if you know this, in Scotland we do like a version of potato cake apart we call it a potato scone or “ tattie scone “ as we call them, a staple of a Scottish breakfast up here, if you ever eat one, a baking company in Scotland called Brownings do one of the best ones you will eat in my opinion, you should definitely look into getting a Scottish breakfast one time 😁, keep up the good work mate 😁👍

They are actually called Potatoe Scones in Scotland, you can buy them in supermarkets. Just make sure you cook them well until the outside goes brown. Great value at £27 for 3 big dishes.

I reside in Oldham in the North-West of England and there is/was (not been in a while) a great little greasy spoon breakfast place that had a brilliant proverb on the wall, and it read... Next time you are in Sheffield, try Butler's Balti House (they open at 3.30pm). It's on 44-46 Broad Lane. I did my BA and MA at the University of Sheffield and Butler's Balti House saved my life on many occasions (dissertation madness, etc).
