Hi sir, for part a if we just use a^2 + b^2 ( b being 1/2(x)) = c^2 to find the perpendicular height and then multiply that by x for the area of one triangle and multiply that by 20 to get the total surface area, why do we get a different answer. shouldn't it be the same? thanks Edit - nvm I realised I was adding to the values I got for lenghts instead of doing c^2 - a^2 = b^2

Yeah but he did it as a shortcut... saves time 😊😊 If he didnt sub it in he would have to find dv/dt in terms of x then sub to in
