Walking with God overall is not easy. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, and our romantically inclined minds don't think we could be afflicted in the area of love, dating, marriage, sex, etc. There's always something God is working on in us, and we will always have that tension of Him working some things out and leaving question marks in others. He fulfilled your preaching dream! That's a fulfilment of prophecy. He has been faithful for the last 2000+ years, and he won't stop now. Keep going, you're in tune.

Absolutely! Everything in our lives is an opportunity for us to grow in our characters as we prepare to live in heaven for eternity.

That quote resonated with me well: "God is too good to withhold anything from his people that would be beneficial for them at the moment." Also Important to remember to not put the cart before the horse. Thank you, very helpful preaching :)

Lindsey..., I just want to encourage you in your waiting. God is protecting you from the wrong person, and preparing you for the right one. There is a perfect man out there waiting for you as well. I am praying for strength in the waiting. I know how difficult it is to wait, I've been waiting nearly 2 years from the point God made me a promise of my wife. It has been extremely difficult to say the least. I did however get a breakthrough after fasting for 3 days. It's been a year since then, but atleast I know I'm on the right track. I would also highly recommend you read Man of Faith - George Muller. Its free on his organizations site. My faith was completely transformed after reading that book. May God draw you closer to Him in this time. May the days of waiting be short. God rewards those who wait!

I thought someone was my husband for three years, it didn’t go that way, but God grew me SO much in the process. I’m no longer putting soooo much trust in prophetic words and more in the peace I feel. I’m now dating for the first time after letting it go and I feel so free. What’s crazy is the words about this person did come true, I just completely misunderstood them.

Wow, Katie! Thank you for sharing! I'm glad you're experiencing more peace in your life now :) Isn't it crazy how words can come to pass in such a vastly different way than we'd ever expect??

@@LindseyBirch yes!! And to be specific, I had a dream of this man looking over a baby at me laughing with joy. Well we ended up starting a business together and he always referring to it as our baby and that being co-founders was like having a marriage. But that romantic spark was never there. I felt confused for a long time but it finally clicked that God meant the business as the baby.

@Katie-ke4sp wow, that's so interesting. I guess a lot if the time, when we have dreams we can see certain imagery and assume what it means. It's important to pray and ask god for the interpretation. As joseph said to pharoah in Genesis, dream interpretation is God's business.

Having been through a hurtful marriage breakup to the point of not wanting to find another relationship, it is a relief to be able to leave it with God. God is good and will not withhold Good from us, we just need to remember not all the things we think are good for us are actually good😁.

Phewww….. I feel you Surrender can be hard and difficult. The scripture, My God shall supply all my “NEEDS “ according to his riches in Glory encourages me. God knows me better than I know myself. He is sovereign and I shall keep waiting on Him. God gave up so much for me, how much am I willing to give up for him? I shall wait on Him.

Hi thank you for your video, I just wanted to ask, I thought only males could be pastors according to scripture?

Hi, thanks for your question. This is a big topic that is often hotly debated, and usually one's culture and denominational stance have a deal of influence over the final decision made on the topic. I personally never knew women could be pastors when I was growing up and it never occured to me that I would be one until only a few years ago. But the call of God is for anyone who will answer the call. The book of Joel speaks about the Holy Spirit being poured out onto all flesh in the last days before Jesus' second coming - on both old and young, and both male and female. I beliee that time is short until Jesus returns, and that he needs as many of us as possible to share the good news as possible, so that all people across the globe may have an opportunity to respond before it is too late.
